		Age 34
		Married to Ayesha Qureshi MBE and has 7 month old son
		Educated at Stepney Green School
		Lives locally in Tower Hamlets
		Abdal Ullah successfully contested the St. Dunstan’s & Stepney Green ward in 2006 and been a cabinet member with responsibility for a Cleaner, Safer and Greener borough for past four years. He served on the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) for six years and was the first British Bangladeshi to be appointed to the Queen Mary University of London governing council.

In 2005 he founded the annual Safer Neighbourhood Tournament (SNT Cup). In 2009 he iImproved recycling rates by 40% in 2009 and iIntroduced Tower Hamlets Enforcement Officers (THEO’s) and an extra 20 police officers on the streets. Other notable achievements include:
